THE OPPORTUNITY: Pre-Construction Manager As a Pre-Construction Manager you will have the opportunity to use your skills to work on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial projects. You must have a desire for a career in estimating, buy-out, procurement, detailed submittal documentation and an ability to manage others. Must have supervised craft in a self-perform environment. The candidate must have 5 years’ experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in plumbing and advanced plumbing systems. Past project size should exceed $5 million Must demonstrate experience and capability for monitoring production and controlling costs. Familiar with management controls (i.e., schedules, cost control, procurement, and quality/safety) facilitated during project execution. Past personal experience as a crafts person in the mechanical trades is required and previous/past professional licensing is a plus. Desired Requirements: Must have demonstrated experience of managing others 10-15 yrs experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in mechanical process piping and advanced plumbing systems. Dedicated, self-motivated with good verbal and people skills. Demonstrate a stable work history. Must have demonstrated experience in estimating in a hard bid market. Must have demonstrated experience developing accurate estimates from schematic design documents. Able to prioritize and work independently. Willing to work all hours and schedules assigned This role is Remote but you must live in the Midwest and be willling to travel 75% and have HVAC, MEP Contstruction Experiance.
