Job Description Position Purpose: Machine Operators complete a variety of maintenance, development and operations tasks that promote the efficient production parts in the Rough Bore department. Essential Functions: /n - During cycle load feed conveyor to machining centers and unload finished product /n - Continuously monitor the operation of Rough Bore, adjusting speeds and feed as required /n - Make adjustments to the robot as needed /n - Maintain tooling; perform changeovers /n - Perform quality checks constant 100% visual; record date /n - Interact with computer programs; use precision measuring instruments /n - Detect and report faulty products /n - Cross-train other employees as required /n - Fork Truck Operator; drive fork truck, locate product in proper areas of the plant, move material and equipment where needed /n /n Education and Training: /n - High School Diploma or GED required /n - Ability to obtain certification to drive industrial powered equipment (example: Fork Truck) /n /n Physical Demands: /n - Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs with assistance) /n - Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking /n - Lift supplies/equipment /n - Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies, with assistance depending on weight /n - Manuel dexterity and mobility /n - Considerable reaching, stopping, bending, kneeling, crouching /n - Temperature Changes: Variations in temperature from hot to cold /n /n We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
