Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: Certifications as per specialty requirements Must-Have: Two supervisory references preferred Must be able to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. Description: Schedule is Monday through Friday. No weekend shifts. No call responsibilities. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required as needed. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment period. If two major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work both. If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of those holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the pushback may be 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted. Candidates must be away for one full year from all previous facilities to return as travelers. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the previous facility before rebooking at a new location. Modules are non-billable hours factored in and completed during orientation. Modules vary by specialty and are recorded via transcripts.
