Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A K-12 teaching opportunity is available for a Teacher
of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction for
a single student in the Atlanta area. This leave contract position
offers a focused schedule Monday through Friday, assisting a
student who requires dedicated support in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
discipline. Location: Atlanta, GA (center of the city) Position
Details: Leave contract from March 17, 2026, through May 22, 2026
7.5 to 10 hours per week Strict schedule: 10:20 AM to 11:50 AM EST,
Monday through Friday Support provided to one student in a K-12
public school setting Position requires following one assigned
student to ensure their educational needs are fully met
Qualifications: Active Georgia DOE Certification for teaching
Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Experience levels from entry (0-2
years) to advanced (10 years) accepted, with salary commensurate to
experience Strong knowledge of instructional strategies specific to
Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Ability to adhere to a structured
schedule and provide consistent, individualized student support Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction aligned with the
student's individual education plan (IEP) Monitor student progress
and adapt teaching methods as needed Communicate effectively with
school staff, families, and support personnel Maintain professional
standards and confidentiality This role provides a unique
