Full-time Description ART TEACHER LOWER SCHOOL - K-2 FULL TIME
FY 2026-2027 Kennesaw, GA Northwest Classical Academy seeks a
full-time Lower School Art Teacher for grades K-2. Teachers are
responsible for the education of their students. They are expected
to demonstrate high moral character and have mastery of the
subjects they teach. Teachers will work collaboratively to create a
working and learning environment for all students that is safe,
secure, and respectful. This position reports to the Lower School
Principal on Northwest Classical Academy’s Kennesaw campus. This
position starts July 2026. The responsibilities of this role
include, but are not limited to, the following: Adhere to the
school’s mission and the principles of classical education Plan
lessons and deliver instruction according to NCA’s classical
curriculum and pedagogy, guiding students to acquire skills in art
and to enjoy, appreciate, and interpret art in their daily lives
Encourage and promote the coordination of art with other subject
areas in the curriculum Evaluate student performance in art,
maintain grade books in Infinite Campus, and communicate
proactively with parents Assist the Director of Fine Arts in
inventorying, organizing, ordering, and caring for art materials
and equipment Assist in planning, preparing, and presenting
programs and festivals for the school Qualified candidates will
meet the following requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in a related
field from a fully accredited college is required. Valid teaching
certification in Georgia is preferred, but not required. Previous
experience in classical education is preferred, but not required.
Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication
skills. Strong candidates will support the school’s Mission: to
