Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, eCommerce with a deep passion
for the customer journey to help further improve the customer's
experience across mobile and web platforms. This position is a key
member of the Marketing Team, leading our ecommerce platform. You
will help define the best digital environment for our users across
all conversion and content flows.--- In this role, you should be a
strong analytical and creative designer who is both able to grasp
user needs and solve problems, as well as have a passion for
driving the overall performance and success of our site on a
day-to-day basis. Therefore, you should also be comfortable as a
business leader and Product Owner, setting KPI forecasts delivering
demonstrable improvements as a result of product changes. A strong
portfolio of successful UX and other projects is essential.---
Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and
intuitive to attract, convert, and retain customers. This role will
recommend & execute strategies that achieve traffic, conversion,
sales, and profit goals, and build a best-in-class shopping
experience for our site visitors. The ideal candidate is a
qualitative and quantitative problem solver. You are a team player
who can strategize at a bird's eye view, but also be able and
willing to roll up your sleeves to execute in the day-to-day
operations of achieving our goals. -
- Partner with Sr. Director, Sales & Marketing and IT to lead the
development and implementation of the ecommerce site roadmap to
achieve annual plan -
- Create relevant consumer experiences that convert traffic from
all channels (email, paid advertising, social, affiliate, organic
search, etc.) -
- Create & deliver strategies to drive conversion through a deep
understanding of customer behavior analytics -
- Create, maintain & implement A/B testing roadmap. -
- Partner with internal teams to identify and prioritize future
on-site optimizations or functionalities to enhance customer
experience, including personalization based on customer segments
and journeys. -
- Partner with IT front-end developers to develop wireframes, IA,
and UX recommendations for new content and site features -
- Keep pulse on business and identify any barriers to conversion
across all devices -
- Regularly analyze eCommerce KPIs, site health, ShopperApproved
reviews, and other related data to find opportunities to improve
the customer experience -
- Measure, analyze and report performance on all website
activity, evaluating the results against goals and present informed
analysis and recommendations -
- Utilize Google Analytics and other available data and
dashboards to regularly report on performance of key initiatives
and customer behavior to inform internal partners, build future
strategies, and drive long term site optimizations -
- Oversee execution of website content, merchandising, products,
and promotions and optimize for goal achievement (sales, email
opt-in, etc.) -
- Stay abreast of best practices, trends, and changes within the
ecommerce landscape; in partnership with IT, actively scout new
vendors & technology that could drive performance and overall
efficiencies -
- Up to date on latest SEO trends & best practices. Work closely
with SEO agency, IT, and Content to optimize the digital content
experience, from SEO improvements and technical platform
optimizations to content creation strategy and off-page link
optimizations. Monitor organic traffic performance -
- Partner with IT to troubleshoot major website issues -
- Responsible for a team who maintains Site Merchandising and
content/campaign updates -Qualifications and Education
Requirements: -
- 5+ years' experience in eCommerce -
- Demonstrated understanding of eCommerce best practices, with a
track record of delivering results -
- Affinity for and analytical experience in pulling data from
platforms, compiling, dissecting, and identifying trends to inform
strategy -
- Ability to present data in an actionable and useful way to
allow business owners to make decisions -
- Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others, while
also being an independent thinker, with a passion in helping to
drive growth and success -
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, building
relationships with partners, and influencing outcomes in a changing
Digital environment -
- Curiosity to stay on the cutting edge and always test and try
new ideas and methods with a strong understanding of A/B testing
best practices as it relates to improving efficiency and scale
within media buys -
- An innate understanding of user behavior on digital platforms
and how to best engage with those audiences -
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative,
and innovative high-growth environment -
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability
to work effectively across all levels. -
- Experience managing a team -
