- - - - - -Head of School -OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:The School
Program Director is responsible for overseeing school programming
as it relates to programs during the school day as well as programs
and activities after school at St. Benedict's Episcopal School.
-This position is the point of contact for on-campus activities
that take place when the school day ends, ensuring all schedules
run smoothly. This role is integral to the success of the school
such that their passion for the mission along with their skills and
knowledge result in advancing the organization's short and
long-term goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES? - - - - -Manages both the Director of Auxiliary
Programs and Director of Preschool Aftercare for ages preschool 2's
- 8th grade. Within oversight of both directors, the School Program
Director responsibilities are:? - -Oversees the management,
implementation and assessment of the after school and auxiliary
(clubs and summer camp) offerings ensuring there is enriching
programming for all ages; children are safe, cared for and the
programs keep them engaged, growing and happy.? - -Working closely
with the Directors to ensure new vendors curriculum aligns with our
programming requirements and the mission of our school.? -
-Ensuring the strategic plan performance measures for the program
are being fulfilled throughout the program's annual cycle. ? -
-Ensures positive relationships are maintained with all
constituents in the afterschool and auxiliary program. ? - -Ensures
there is structure and organization to keep all programs running
smoothly and efficiently.? - -Oversight of the "business" of the
afterschool program so it meets its strategic goals; including
budget management, hiring and retaining gifted staff, analyzing
results real time, marketing and business development as well as
delivering a consistently excellent customer experience. -? - - - -
-Coordinate all after hour enrichment programs and ensures all
logistics are covered in terms of space reservation, coordination
and communication as well as being the point of contact. -Work
closely with COO around facility details. These programs include
but are not limited to:? - -Sports as overseen by the Athletic
Director of cross country, track, basketball, and any other sports
programs.? - -Robotics and STEAM activities overseen by the STEAM
Director? - -School and Parent led clubs such as Helping Hands? -
-Tutor Schedules and Music lessons? - -Groups using the facility
after hours such as AA and Al-Anon? - - - - -Coordinate certain
daytime school activities that fall outside of the classroom
working closely with those sponsors to ensure timelines and details
are being carried out. -Activities include but are not limited to:o
- -Yearbooko - -Beta Club? - - - - -Facilitate all logistics around
both day and extended overnight field trips by working with various
teachers, deans or leadership team to ensure all details are
covered and communicated. -? - - - - -Create programming that
aligns with the school mission and creates a cohesive vision for
academic enhancements, afterschool childcare, engaging programming
and student enthusiasm outside the classroom. -QUALIFICATIONS: -? -
- - - -Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited college or
equivalent work experience is a must. Master of Business a plus.? -
- - - -Minimum of 5-7 years work-related management experience in
the nonprofit sector preferably in a private school setting. -Event
planning a plus.? - - - - -Well-developed strategic and critical
thinking skills? - - - - -Excellent listening, interpersonal,
written, and oral communication skills? - - - - -Strong computer
skills with basic working knowledge of classroom and school
technology.? - - - - -Management skills with the ability to work
with individuals from diverse backgrounds.? - - - - -Must work well
individually and as part of a team. Must be comfortable working ina
fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where team members are given
generaldirection and expected to figure out the details.? - - - -
-Possesses good process thinking skills, strives for continuous
improvement and can drive results. ? - - - - -Excellent verbal
communication and presentation skills? - - - - -Creative problem
solving? - - - - -Superior time management skills and the ability

-Consistent, reliable, proactive with high emotional intelligence?

nonprofit organization is also a plus.
