SCHEDULESummary:Operational Excellence Deployment Leader reports to
the Lean Lead. You will be a Lean and Six Sigma experienced
practitioner responsible for the development of Lean and Six Sigma
capability across the Takeda network as part of our AGILE
transformation program. You also support process improvement
through coaching of leaders and practitioners and through workshop
deployment. (Lexington, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco). Through
your strong business knowledge, you support the development and
delivery of site AGILE roadmaps, developing local capabilities in
the AGILE Teams in the process.How you'll make an impact:
- You will provide guidance to site/teams to coach leaders on all
aspects of AGILE Operating system
- Aid sites/functions in the identification of highest value
areas for improvement and support delivery of improvement of
plant/GMS performance with site teams
- Work with the Six Sigma Leader/Lean Leader to achieve OE
strategy, to support goals within the Operating Units and Regions
as part of AGILE Program. Four locations in the US (30%
travel)
- Ensure accurate and timely KPI reporting for GMS, in
particular, the AGILE-related metrics
- Support AGILE champions/coaches in working across AGILE
workstreams through coaching and connecting SMEs across the
network
- You will liaise and work with other regional team members to
ensure understanding of the global program best known methods.
Support the best practice sharing across GMS
- You support Takeda Transformation and product End-to-End
projects to identify improvement opportunities including projects
at each site. Work with sites to identify waste and robustness
issues within their value stream.
- Develop roadmap on how to achieve site value stream and
strategy Essential:
- BS degree Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or
technical discipline
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in
pharma or biotechnology
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or
quality/technical services role
- Teaching and coaching skills
- Experience in a Leadership role
- Influencing skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Minimum professional certification: Six Sigma Black Belt
- Proficient working TPM (predictive/preventative), demonstrated
proficiency in OE DMAIC, 5S technique, and OE DAMICPreferred:
- Lean Master/ Six Sigma Master Black belt certified
