Position Overview Our Purchasing Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies. This role has responsibility for all locations including Hudson's manufacturing sites based in Champagne, IL, Ontario, CA, and Smyrna, GA. The Purchasing Manager will work with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments and will report into the Director of Supply Chain Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Oversees remote Purchasing staff located in United States.Works with internal staff to procure and monitor inventory levels and purchase supplies Coordinates with our various plant facilities to do routine scheduling, and assists plant with other purchasing needs related to product sourcing and forecastingWorks with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms of Supply Agreements.Builds and maintains relationships with Suppliers; New Source evaluation as neededOrganizes and maintains a procedure library and recommends system/department improvements. Responsible for atypical customer orders of large volume and non-routine requests Works on other special sourcing/inventory related projects as needed Required Skills and Experience:Five or more years Purchasing Leadership experience including management of geographically dispersed teams B.S. in a S.T.E.M discipline Proven negotiation skillsExperience in Logistics desirableHands on experience in budgeting and purchasing managementSuperb communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsExperience with SIOP process and ERP implementation desirableOutstanding organizational and time management skills including proficiency in ExcelAbility to travel (less than 20%, some international) Position based in Smyrna, GA - Remote work eligible Vaccination encouraged PI207720272
