ResponsibilitiesThe physical therapist assesses, plans, organizes and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. Services are provided across the full continuum and rendered in a cost conscious, quality focused and customer oriented manner. Compliance with all applicable regulatory standards is also required in this role. QualificationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS -Required Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical TherapyRequired Minimum Licensure: Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of GeorgiaRequired Minimum Experience: NoneRequired Minimum Skills: Effective communication skills, customer service focused, team oriented, and basiccomputer skills. -For Direct Patient Care positions, Indicate American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatricscertification required: -BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS ( Advanced Cardiac Life Support)NRP Neonatal Resuscitation ProgramPALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support -PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: - -Frequent lifting of 35-50 pounds with occasional lifting of 100 pounds or greater; Occasional medium lifting of 21-50 pounds
