Position: Certified Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: REMOTE in CADuration: 12+ Months Contract with possible extensionPay Rate: $23/hrRelocation Expenses/ Assistance: NOSchedule: M-F: 8:00 - 4:30p pacificJob Description:

This person will be reviewing prior authorization requests coming in from the MD office or pharmacy.
They will not be taking in bound calls, but making outbound calls as needed.
Coordinate, assist in, and support implementation of procedures and guidelines for the drug prior authorization program for the outpatient Pharmacy Benefit
Evaluate prior authorization requests based on medication policy and operational principles
Clearly communicate formulary alternatives and prior authorization criteria, and discusses pharmacy benefit coverage when requiredJob Requirement:
- Active Pharmacy technician license
- Medical Knowledge
