Instrument Technician – Sterile Processing Location: Canton, GA
Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible multiple
extensions Shift: Evening | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM | 8-Hour Shifts
Weekly Hours: 40 (Guaranteed) On-Call: No Job Description: We are
seeking a dedicated and experienced Instrument Technician (Sterile
Processing) to join the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) for a
13-week travel assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to
support surgical services by ensuring all surgical instruments and
equipment are properly reprocessed, sterilized, and prepared for
procedures in a high-performing healthcare environment. Key
Responsibilities: Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and
sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Ensure compliance
with infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
Operate washers, sterilizers, and other decontamination and
sterilization equipment. Organize instrument trays and manage case
carts for surgical procedures. Maintain accurate records of
sterilization cycles and instrument tracking.
