Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our cardiovascular team. The Cath Lab RN plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions by assisting during catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker implantations, and other interventional procedures. The nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care throughout the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and education. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals and ECGs throughout the procedure. Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper equipment functioning and availability. Monitor patients in the recovery phase and provide post-procedure care instructions. Document patient information accurately and promptly in the EMR system. Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and perform interventions as needed.
