Pay Information $1,815 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: Less than 1 year preferred License: RN (Single State or Multi-state Compact) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire Must-Have: - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Excellent time management skills - Basic computer skills Description: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. The practice environment is administered by Nurse Managers and supported through a governance model. The framework for practice is guided by a Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by system values. All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the state's Professional Nurse Practice Act. They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards set by professional associations. As a member of the patient services team, the individual supports system policies and procedures while promoting service excellence goals. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Performs the Nursing Process in clinical care using evidence-based practices. - Provides patient-centered care that reflects an understanding of cultural diversity. - Collaborates with patients and significant others to set and pursue care goals. - Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care. - Demonstrates teamwork by engaging in fiscally responsible practices supporting team recruitment and retention. - Participates in performance improvement initiatives to promote safe, quality patient care. - Completes all mandatory education and competency assessments. - Serves as a mentor for other nursing professionals to ensure a qualified workforce. - Promotes evidence-based practices and nursing research. - Upholds organizational policies and clinical competencies in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. - Collects data and consults experts to address clinical questions. - Proactively plans for patient care across the continuum. - Participates in developing protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes. - Supports the efficient use of resources. Required Minimum Education: - Associate's Degree in nursing or a graduate of an accredited nursing school. - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
