Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Smyrna, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs /n• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative /n• Perform mammography examinations according to department procedures /n• Obtain quality diagnostic studies safely and properly /n• Perform technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative /n• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures /n• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience /n• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions /n• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results /n• Respond to emergency situations and use critical thinking skills /n• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care /n• Maintain first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent /n• Complete all studies in RIS with proper orientation, marking, and labeling /n• Required certifications: ARRT-M (Mammography), ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS /n• Minimum 1 year experience as Rad Tech required /n• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred /n• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills /n• Ability to work independently under pressure in fast-paced environment /n• Must be detail oriented with capacity to multitask effectively /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive imaging department that provides diagnostic mammography services to the community.
