Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Athens, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Athens, Tennessee, 37303! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Required to work as an RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: BLS ACLS Critical thinking Description: Urgent backfill needed for immediate start. This position is for an ICU Registered Nurse. The ICU is currently equipped with 5 beds, with plans to expand to 10 beds in February. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses treated include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, overdoses, and psychiatric issues. The nurse to patient ratios are 2-3 patients per nurse. Clinical staff must be evaluated against the state abuse registry prior to starting. All travelers must possess required certifications prior to beginning their assignment. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Dress code is scrubs of any color. Casual wear is not acceptable.
