Licensed Practical Nurse Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Take and record patient's vital signs * Dresses Wounds * Observes patient and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to appropriate personnel in charge * Administers specified medication and nutrition and notes time and amount on patient's chart * Adhere to patient's daily routine * Maintain patient's oxygen routine if applicable * Accompany patient to doctor appointments (day shift only) * Establish communication path with patient * Assembles and uses such equipment as catheters, nebulizer, suctioning, Bi-Pap and oxygen supplies * Records food and fluid intake and output * Assists with bathing, dressing, transfers and repositioning Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements: * LPN license in the State of Georgia * 3 years experience as an LPN * Ability to write routine reports and required correspondence that are HIPAA compliant * Must be able to appropriately respond to and maintain confidential information in compliance with HIPAA * Reliable vehicle * Clean background and criminal record Licensed Practical Nurse Benefits: * Weekly pay * Flexible shifts * Private Home environment * 12hr shifts We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
