This is a hybrid-based position and will require time in office as
needed.As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible
for supporting our Microsoft 365 ecosystem. In addition to our
cloud platforms, this role will also maintain our on-premises SMTP
relay and assist in the management of our Microsoft Teams Room
Systems, email hygiene platforms and Cisco voice infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions --- Microsoft
Office 365 technical subject matter expert in end user productivity
with experience in Azure AD, SharePoint, Security and Compliance
Center and Intune--- Complete ServiveNow ticket work within the
defined SLAs--- Interact with the team and internal customers to
ensure continuity and customer satisfaction of services--- Actively
participate in developing operational models, processes, and
procedures--- Responsible for deliverables of technical projects
relating to messaging systems, collaborating with enterprise
solutions design to deliver build diagrams and run documentation
for operations--- Work with service owners and business leaders to
recommend solutions to address new business requirements--- Provide
operations and Tier III support for the following Microsoft
services:* Teams* Exchange Online* Microsoft Cloud Voicemail*
Exchange SMTP Relay* Cisco Unified Communications Manager* Cisco
Telepresence--- Tier III support for client systems related to our
core voice services* Cisco Unified Communications Manager* Cisco
Telepresence--- Tier III support on email security systems such as
ProofPoint and EOP and a basic understanding of SPF, DMARC and
DKIMM--- Communicate updates and release information to Change
Management and user engagement teams Minimum: --- Bachelor's degree
in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field.
The right candidate could also have a different combination, such
as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1
year of experience--- Generally, 5-8 years of experience in related
field (i.e. Microsoft Platform technologies in a large
enterprise)--- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams.---
Experience migrating users to Office 365 from on premise to MSFT
Tenant, or Tenant to Tenant migration--- Experience with routing
and switching protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, DNS and WAN protocols
related to voice technologies--- Strong understanding of Windows
Server and desktop operating systems as well as office client
systems--- Experience with using PowerShell--- In-depth knowledge
of network captures and network troubleshooting--- Working
knowledge of load balancing solutions--- Strong diagnostic and
problem-solving skills--- Ability to work on many tasks
simultaneously--- High level of initiative and critical thinking---
Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation
skills--- Experience writing technical documentation for use in
operations--- Ability and willingness to work under a rotational
escalation On-Call team Preferred: --- 5+experience in Microsoft
productivity technology--- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
(MCSE) certification--- Experience with Microsoft ADFS, DirSync,
SCCM and SCOM--- Expert knowledge of PowerShell to include
parameterized scripting and toolmaking--- Expert in designing
actionable Key Process Indicators--- Power BI experience is a
