Job Description:
Cargill is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software
Engineer to join our IT & Data Management team. This role is
crucial in developing and maintaining software solutions that
support our core operations in food, agriculture, financial
services, and industrial products. As a part of Cargill, you will

sustainability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at
solving complex problems and creating robust, scalable software
solutions. Develop and maintain scalable and robust enterprise
applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and
design new features and functionality. Analyze user requirements
and convert requirements into project designs and implementations.
Continuously enhance system performance, preventing and resolving
complex technical issues. Ensure the integration of new
technologies and upgrade of legacy systems. Adhere to all coding,
documentation, and security standards within the company.
Participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback and suggesting
improvements. Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and
enhancements in existing systems and applications. Proficiency in
multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Strong
understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and
agile methodologies. Experience with relational and non-relational
databases. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google
Cloud) and developing in cloud environments. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and
collaboration skills. Medical Insurance Professional certification
in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft
Certified: Azure Developer Associate) is preferred.
