Andy Frain Services is seeking a dedicated Aviation Security Officer to join our dynamic team at a leading airport. In this vital role, you will be responsible for implementing security measures that ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Conduct thorough screening of passengers and their luggage to prevent prohibited items from being carried onto aircraft. Monitor and patrol airport premises to detect and deter suspicious activities. Operate security equipment such as X-ray machines and body scanners with accuracy and efficiency. Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities during security incidents. Document all security checks and incidents in compliance with company and airport policies. Provide customer service assistance to passengers, answering inquiries while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. Conduct access control duties, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Proficiency in using security technology and equipment. Strong situational awareness and ability to identify potential threats. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capability to follow and enforce strict security protocols. Ability to manage stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
