other. Job Description This position will be responsible for the
analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in
class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated
individual who can collaborate with a team and across the
organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software
artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to
ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate
will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and
DevOps principles. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for
designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready
and testable code Consistently creates optimal design adhering to
architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability
and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining
technical designs Performs analysis on failures, propose design
changes, and encourage operational improvements Makes sound
design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the
forefront Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet
standards Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering
best practices and compliance with development procedures
Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow
compliance and security best practices Exhibits relentless focus in
software reliability engineering standards embedded into
development standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or
equivalent work experience Three to five years of relevant
experience Preferred Skills/Experience Extensive experience
designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle databases , with deep
expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures,
functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and advanced query tuning
Strong background in Oracle performance optimization , including
execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, partitioning,
statistics management, and resolving high?volume transactional and
batch?processing performance issues Proven expertise in database
design and data modeling , including normalization, schema design,
ER modeling, and managing large, complex datasets in enterprise
environments Hands?on experience supporting Java?based applications
, working closely with Spring Boot services to design efficient
data access layers and optimize database interactions, React
Experience with Hibernate/JPA , including ORM tuning, native SQL
usage, transaction management, connection pooling, and resolving N1
and performance?related issues Strong experience designing and
supporting RESTful APIs and microservices from a database
perspective, ensuring scalable, secure, and performant data access
Familiarity with ETL, data migration, and data synchronization ,
including batch jobs, data reconciliation, and ensuring data
integrity across upstream and downstream systems Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines and database DevOps , including schema versioning,
automated deployments, rollback strategies, and tools such as Git,
Maven/Gradle, Liquibase, or Flyway Exposure to cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP) , with experience supporting cloud?hosted
Oracle databases, scalability considerations, backup/recovery, and
security best practices Strong focus on quality and reliability ,
including database testing, data validation, unit testing (JUnit,
Mockito), and supporting audit and compliance requirements
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams , collaborating closely
with Java developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to
deliver reliable, data?driven solutions Location expectations This
role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more

$98,175.00 - $115,500.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified
