Job Description Job Description Located in Graham, NC Salary: $16/Hour Shipping Receiving Clerk Position Summary The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures. Working a metal fabrication company in Graham, NC. This would also involve operating a box truck from time to time for deliveries in addition to normal warehouse functions. Key Responsibilities Pack and ship parts using appropriate methods to prevent damage Prepare shipping documents, labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading Coordinate shipments via motor freight, UPS, and FedEx Schedule trucks and distribute shipping paperwork internally Maintain shipping/receiving records and inventory of parts and supplies Load and unload freight using a forklift; lift up to 75 lbs as needed Qualifications 2 years of shipping experience A valid driver's license and excellent driving record Proficiency with computers, email, and internet systems Experience with inventory control and proper packing methods Ability to operate a forklift and handle heavy lifting Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and with a team Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM Pay $16.00/hr 2387OXNC Express Office: Oxford 124 Main Street Oxford, NC 27565
