Your Role and Responsibilities

Digital Development Representative (DDR) is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, conducting demos, knowledge of price, and where applicable, close themselves. They will leverage extended routes as needed; Digital Sales Reps, Business Partners, and Field Sales based on the situation.

  • Develop opportunities from inbound marketing responses and leads originating
  • Work closely with Marketing, Channels & Systems leads to ensure acceptance and progression of identified leads
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly quota objectives
  • Enhance sales performance through expanded use of digital and social processes and capabilities
  • Demonstrate operational excellence through the disciplined management of key performance indicators, streamlining of inside sales processes and optimized resource deployment to improve pipeline yields and drive seller productivity

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in sales
  • 2+ years of experience in a Digital Sales or Systems Business Unit role
  • 2+ years of experience using digital selling/social media such as Blogs, Forums, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn/ LinkedIn Navigator
  • Proven track record of success in sales role
  • Manage multiple priorities while working within guidelines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of IBM Power, Storage or Systems Z
  • Knowledge of SalesForce
  • Knowledge of SalesLoft
  • 1+ years of Marketing experience
  • 1+ years of SalesLoft experience
  • Usage of Trello and Mural
  • 1+ years experience or knowledge in Agile/ Design Thinking
