Job Description:

General Purpose:

Provide professional customer service by analyzing and rectifying customer concerns by providing prompt and accurate solutions personalized to each customer.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

--- Simple Order Entry
--- Ability to use critical thinking skills to assess and resolve customer needs quickly, accurately, and consistently
--- Contact customers via fax, phone, or e-mail for missing or incorrect order information
--- Check data bases for forms and other customer information as needed
--- Audit Simple Orders
--- Communicate with other departments and /or customers regarding late orders and incorrect or damaged shipments
--- Assist Team GLOCK internet sales with calls
--- Administer FFL EZ-check and verification of all FFL applicable orders
--- Assist the receptionist as needed throughout the day by answering and correctly routing inbound calls
--- Coordinate sales problems with Customer Service Manager, LE and or Commercial Sales Coordinators, or the Assistant National Sales Manager

2 - 4 years related experience and/or training
High School Diploma or Equivalent

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers to type on keyboard, alternate sitting and standing at will. Ability to communicate effectively, speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the telephone, visual acuity to read words and numbers, sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate keyboard and other office equipment. Occasionally required to lift and carry boxes up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment primarily requires the employee to work inside in a climate controlled administrative office setting and dress appropriately as set by the GLOCK company policies. Work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation and may be asked to work overtime and weekends when needed to reach deadlines and for special programs or company events.

Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may require some work outside of these hours.
