About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Cashier. If you have a passion for serving others, then join the Tailwind team! As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases Inspect Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance, organization, etc. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Process returns and exchanges following company policies Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills: Proven experience in cash handling and customer service Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency with POS systems Requirements: Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge Must be able to lift 25-30lbs Reliable transportation Benefits: 401k Paid training Employee discount Employee referral program Health, Dental and Vision offered to Full-time employees Tailwind Concessions is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
